Cheri Albritton, 62, of Orland, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, following a brave and determined three-year battle with cancer. Throughout her illness, Cheri exemplified incredible strength and resilience, confronting each challenge with grace and unwavering spirit.
Born on May 18, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio, Cheri was the daughter of the late Richard and Leona (Smith) Hite. She graduated from Anthony Wayne High School and was a devoted member of the Neapolis Church of Christ. Her faith and values guided her through every aspect of her life.
A dedicated and hardworking individual, Cheri owned and operated her own masonry business. She was hands-on in all aspects of her work, from managing payroll and human resources to working as a skilled bricklayer. Her pride in her craft and her commitment to excellence were evident in everything she did.
Outside of work, Cheri enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She loved fishing, bowling, gardening, and baking. Cheri especially cherished the moments spent boating with her family on Wall Lake, Lake James, and Snow Lake—memories she will forever hold dear.
Above all, Cheri adored her family. She found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating beautiful memories that will be treasured for years to come. Her love for them was boundless and her family was always her top priority.
Cheri will be remembered for her remarkable strength, generosity, and deep love for her family. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of hard work, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to those closest to her. Her memory will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cheri is survived by her partner, Michael Larrow of Orland, Indiana; her children, Heather Boucher of Napoleon, Ohio, Heidi Nusom of Lambertville, Michigan, and Brandon (Lexie) Albritton of Maumee, Ohio; her stepchildren, Trevor Larrow, Kyle Larrow, and Michael Larrow; her brothers, Richard (Shelly) Hite II of Neapolis, Ohio, Gene (Theresa) Hite of Toledo, Ohio, Brett (Dena) Hite of Neapolis, Ohio, and Christopher Hite of Winterhaven, Florida. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Payton Boucher, Blake Boucher, Ryan Null, Kingston Woods, Casey Loubser, Roman Albritton, and step-grandchildren Tate Larrow, Sophia Larrow, Hayden Larrow, Brady Larrow, Griffen Larrow, Dean Larrow, Karina Larrow, and Julius Larrow.
